Two Questions

This is a reading entry response to the essay that we read that was entitled Two Questions. Two Questions was written by Lynda Barry and it is basically a comic that is all about her struggle with drawing as a career. The story starts out as her asking herself two questions: Is this good, and does this suck? After this first intro, she descrbies how she fell in love with drawing and how she made picture after picture into story after story. But as the comic goes on, the more crowded each drawing gets with angry little charcters who tell her that she cant draw very well and that she needs to give it up. On the second to last picture she is trying to guess what her drawing is and the little figures tell her she has one more guess before she has to give it up. So she finally says she doesnt know what it is, which turns out to be the correct explantion. And in the very last picture, she one of her formally evil little charcters help guide her pen into what she is trying to draw. I liked this story because it was pretty easy to understand and it was minimal reading. The pictures that were the story were pretty good and easy to understand. I think that we should read more alternative forms of essays, you know to change it up a little.
